Dr. G.V. Iyengar, president of the Biomineral Sciences International Inc, is an internationally recognized authority on elemental analysis of biological systems. He has served in several countries during the past 30 years, held several positions and has established wide global contacts. His multidisciplinary  expertise spans from micronutrients and health, food safety and analysis, nutrient food fortification, human body composition, analytical quality assurance and control in the areas of environment, food and nutrition laboratories, nutritional and environmental toxicology including specimen banking for environmental surveillance, to addressing leadership and capacity development challenges in the areas of food and nutrition.

Dr. Iyengar also occupies key positions at the following institutions:

• Adjunct professor at the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, and the Tufts University, Boston, MA.
